Debra Bray, M.Sc.

Debra is an educator, green team coordinator, and experienced lead instructor for school trips. She majored in Science, Philosophy and has a Master degree of Earth Sciences through the University of Cambridge in England.

Debra has been teaching biology, science, and thinking skill at many International middle through high schools across the globe since 2001.Currently she is teaching science at Jakarta International Korean School (JIKS) in Jakarta.

Debra is an advocate of eco-friendly school and has successfully organized the first ‘Green’ International classes on JIKS campus. Debra is also an avid traveler who has studied and worked in many countries. She loves to teach and share her passion of traveling with her students. She has served as a study leader for student groups to many places in Indonesia including Kalimantan (Borneo), Bali and Java (Borobudur).

Visit orangutan conservation camps and cruise along Kumai River in Kalimantan, the Indonesian portion of the island of Borneo. Explore the dense jungle and encounter the thriving variety of flora and fauna that have made Borneo one of the most biologically diverse places on earth. Search for various wildlife species including large proboscis monkey, colorful butterflies and birds such as rhinoceros hornbills, kingfisher, and flycatchers. Then fly to Bali, 'the Island of Gods', and experience its unique culture and splendid natural beauty
