Java (Jawa) is one of Indonesia's five main islands. Central Java is where Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in the world, is located. This magnificent temple is UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's featured in 'Tours of a lifetime' by National Geographic magazine and also TV show of 'The amazing race'. We will organize a unique lifetime experience for you to witness Borobudur sunrise and enjoy lonely dawn of the temple before it opens to the public. After sunrise, you'll take a traditional horse carriage (andong) to explore the surrounding countryside.
Continue the journey to Prambanan temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 10th century. Climb the hill of Ratuboko and enjoy the beautiful sunset while having tea picnic.
Explore special region of Yogyakarta, a center of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, music and dance. Yogyakarta is the only province in Indonesia that is still headed by a monarchy. Take a walking tour to the King's palace and learn the life of abdi dalem, people who volunteer and subjugate their life to the King.
