Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country located on the eastern margin of the Indochinese peninsula on the South China Sea. It has a population of about 90 million people and is known for its rich culture, Buddhist pagodas, beautiful beaches, rivers and bustling cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

In Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, you can visit historical sites and temples; take a cyclo through the narrow alleyways of the Old Quarter and discover many street vendors and local markets; taste delicious Vietnamese cuisine, famous for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of oil and balance of fresh herbs, meats and selective spices; or just learn about Hanoi's coffee culture and enjoy a cup of coffee at Hanoi's oldest coffee shops.

The Gulf of Tonkin, a several hour car ride from Hanoi, is where a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay, is located. You can relax and stay overnight on a luxurious cruise ship to see the breathtaking views of the bay's emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. During afternoon, you will have a chance to kayak or ride a sampan boat (a traditional wooden boat) and explore various caves, including 'Surprise Cave' with its magnificent stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Other important and charming cities to visit are Hue and Hoi An, both of which are also UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Hue was a formerly imperial capital city during Nguyen Dynasty, while Hoi An is known for its well-preserved Ancient Town with its colorful French colonial buildings mix with ornate Vietnamese tube houses, iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and wooden Chinese shops. In Hoi An, we will arrange a unique combination of river cruise and cycling tour. You will rise early morning to visit fish markets, shop fresh tropical fruit at the local markets and ride a traditional bucket boat for crab fishing. The coastline from Hoi An to Danang stretches for around 18.5 miles (30 kilometers) with some of the prettiest, most scenic beaches along the way. Tropical paradise, My Khe beach, is just north of Danang.

Ho Chi Minh City, or commonly known as Saigon, is also an important city famous not only for its historical French colonial architectures, such as the Notre-Dame Basilica and the neoclassical Saigon Central Post Office, but also for the pivotal role it played in the Vietnam War. From here you can visit Mekong Delta and explore the surroundings on a traditional wooden boat and bicycle. You may also visit the floating markets and local factories to see how local products, such as pop rice, rice paper or coconut candies, are made.
